At Chrysalis Recovery, counseling is at the heart of what we do. Since April 2009, we have provided thoughtful, individualized counseling services for children, adolescents, adults, and families facing a wide range of life challenges. Whether you are seeking support by choice or through a referral, our focus is on creating a safe, respectful space where meaningful change can happen.

Outpatient counseling can also be completed here at Chrysalis alongside your IDCMP requirements.

Family counseling

Who We Serve

Chrysalis Recovery provides counseling services for clients of all ages. Our clinical staff is qualified to see individuals for both counseling and evaluations across mental health, behavioral health, substance use, anger management, batterer intervention programs, and other related needs.

Chrysalis has provided DWI aftercare counseling since opening in 2009, and has been an approved IDCMP and aftercare provider since 2013.

Flexible Scheduling & Session Options

We work to make counseling accessible and manageable within your life.

Session hours:

Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Saturday: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM
All sessions by appointment only

Session formats:

  • • In-person sessions at our Concord office
  • • Telehealth (face to face on computer/phone live)

Clients may choose the format that best fits their comfort level, schedule, and needs.

A Counseling Team You Can Trust

Our counseling services are delivered by a robust, multidisciplinary clinical team with advanced education, licensure, and specialized training.

  • • Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors (LADC) — bachelor's and master's level, with many currently completing their master's programs
  • • Master Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors (MLADC)
  • • Dually licensed LCMHC and MLADC
  • • Bachelor's-level CRSW counselors who are IDSP-approved providers earning hours toward LADC licensure
  • • Master's-level counselors working toward advanced licensure
  • • CRSW case managers and intake coordinators
  • • IDSP counselors working towards LADC and MLADC
  • • SAP licensed and certified counselors

Our team also includes counselors with specialized certifications and training in areas such as Anger Management, Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) evaluations, and more—allowing us to thoughtfully match clients with the right level of care.

Once your intake packet is submitted, our team will review it and contact you to schedule your first appointment.
